How to evaluate a Chinese cosmetics wholesale quotation.
A useful quotation should let a buyer understand exactly what is being offered, what is not included, and which details still need confirmation before payment.

Make every quoted line identifiable
Each line should state the brand, full product name, version, shade or assortment, net contents, unit packaging, quoted quantity, unit price, and currency. Limited editions, domestic versions, and international versions should be named explicitly because similar packaging can hide a different specification.
Ask for a product photo or catalog reference beside any line that could be confused. The final purchase order should use the same names and variants as the approved quotation.
Read MOQ and packing as commercial terms
Confirm whether the minimum applies to the total order, one brand, one SKU, one shade, one inner pack, or one outer carton. Also ask whether mixed shades or mixed products are allowed within a carton.
Case quantities affect cash flow, storage, freight, and the number of products a buyer can test. Compare quotations using the actual purchasable quantity, not only the lowest displayed unit price.
Separate included and excluded costs
A quotation should state whether the price includes China domestic delivery, warehouse receiving, quantity checks, storage, consolidation, export packing, labels, international freight, insurance, or destination charges. If a service is not listed, do not assume it is included.
Request a clear delivery basis and destination. Two prices are not comparable when one ends at a supplier warehouse and the other includes consolidation or an international route.
Confirm validity, payment, and change control
Stock, exchange rates, promotions, packaging, and brand supply terms can change. Record the quotation validity period, payment schedule, expected preparation time, cancellation conditions, and how substitutions will be approved.
Before payment, keep the accepted quotation, order list, consignee details, packaging instructions, and communication record together. Any later change should be confirmed in writing.
